Zoe McCartney
Zoe relocated to Lithgow about 3 years ago when covid crippled her accommodation business in Sydney.
Zoe grew up in Tamworth and although she started a degree in Economic her passion was always in the Fashion industry. So, she put her degree on hold to pursue a career in fashion that saw her working for some of Australia’s most successful designers such as Lisa Ho, Collette Dinnigan, and The Cue Clothing Company.
After working in the fashion industry in London, Zoe returned to Australia. Business is her passion and building on her 20 years of experience in the fashion industry as a patternmaker and production manager started a small accommodation business.
After covid destroyed her business, she knew it was time to return to her roots in the country and packed her bags and four cats and moved to Lithgow.
Zoe received a warm welcome in Lithgow and has become actively involved in Lithgow Quota, Bowenfels Rural Bushfire Brigade and The Lithgow Branch of the National Party.
Our community wants our region to thrive, with existing businesses growing and creating new job opportunities, and new ventures attracted to invest and establish here.
Zoe brings extensive experience in tourism, financial management and economic development to Team Ring and is firmly committed to applying those skills if elected to Council.
